The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Arkadag City, where he met with the managers and players of the football club, congratulated them on their victories and discussed the progress of fulfilling the assigned tasks.
In addition, the National Leader of the Turkmen people visited the multifunctional sports complex in the city of Arkadag. There, the Hero-Arkadag was greeted by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov, Arkadag City Hyakim Sh. Durdyliyev and the managers and players of the football club from the new city.
The Hero-Arkadag, who is an active supporter of a healthy lifestyle and has identified physical activity and sports as key aspects of the state policy, makes every effort to raise the prestige of Turkmen sports.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people inspected the bus donated by the President of Turkmenistan to Arkadag FC. The football club emblem and the legendary horse Akhan, which is also the main decoration of Arkadag City, are depicted on the outside of the bus.
Today, Arkadagly Hero Serdar continues to implement successfully the initiatives put forward by the Hero-Arkadag to promote health and wellness of the people. This, in turn, opens up wide opportunities for promoting various sports in the country, including football. This is vividly evidenced by the victories of Arkadag FC in the Turkmenistan Football Championship and the Turkmenistan Cup.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people congratulated the football players and managers of Arkadag FC on their achievements in the Year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” and the New Year and wished everyone new victories in the year “The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy”, expressing belief that our athletes would continue to make a great contribution to raising the prestige of Turkmen sports on the international arena in the future.

The players and managers of the football club once again expressed their gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the wonderful gift, assuring that they would make every effort to raise the international authority of Turkmen sports.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people highlighted the importance for the football players to play friendly matches with football teams of foreign countries on a regular basis to improve their professional skills and to gain practical experience, which would help them fulfil the assigned tasks and promote the Olympic movement.
Addressing the football players, the Hero-Arkadag said, “Ýeňiş gazanmak siz bilen – alkyşlamak biz bilen”, expressing belief that they would spare no effort to raise the prestige of Turkmen sports on the international arena, and congratulated once again the club on its remarkable accomplishments and wished new victories in the coming year.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people instructed to conduct regular training sessions of Arkadag FC outside the multidisciplinary sports complex and to provide the football players with everything they need. The Hero-Arkadag wished every success in their work to all those present and left the venue.
