The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag and acquainted himself with the work being carried out in preparation for the New Year’s celebrations, including those related to the organisation of holiday trade for the population. The Hero-Arkadag also conducted a working meeting with the participation of heads of relevant structures.
These days, in the capital, the city of Arkadag and other parts of the country, large-scale preparatory activities have been launched in order to adequately celebrate everyone’s favourite holiday – the New Year’s Day. In this regard, great importance is attached to the level and quality of trade services.
At the same time, providing the population with goods at affordable prices in stores and markets is identified as one of the main tasks. This indicates that appropriate measures have been taken as part of the implementation of the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which were given during the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on December 15 of this year on the above issue.
Currently, comprehensive work to ensure the abundance of various goods in the markets of Turkmenistan continues.
At the Government meeting, the Head of Turkmenistan addressed a number of instructions to the relevant officials to improve the level and quality of services provided to the population. In the days of preparations for the New Year celebration, the activities of the structures of the trading complex must be organised at the proper level and meet the requirements of the time.
In the new city, the Hero-Arkadag was met by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov, the hyakim of the city of Arkadag Sh. Durdyliyev and the head of the Arkadag City Consumers’ Society H. Muhammedov.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people acquainted himself with the work of shopping complexes operating in the city, in particular, the Gökdere shopping centre, and with the products offered to the population.
There is a wide range of food and industrial products that fully meet the modern needs of the population, in terms of their quality and affordability as well.
