The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Arkadag City to review construction projects of facilities to be built during the second construction stage in the city.

Great importance is attached to transforming the look of rural and urban areas and improving the social and living conditions of the people in all regions of the country. All this testifies to the success of the social policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, initiated by the Hero-Arkadag.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived at the venue for the solemn ground-breaking ceremony of the second construction stage in the new city. The Hero-Arkadag was greeted by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and Arkadag City Hyakim Sh. Durdyliyev.
The presentations of the projects and draft designs of the reconstruction of existing roads around the city and construction of modern bridges, ground crossings, ring bypass roads and the layouts of new road transport infrastructure facilities were arranged for the Hero-Arkadag.
The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov reported on the progress of construction and reconstruction of roads and the improvement of adjacent territories at the second construction stage in the city of Arkadag and the measures being taken to expand its territory.
Along with the projects presented, proposals for the modernisation and improvement of roads in the new city and the construction of roads leading to Arkadag City, draft designs of ring roads, bypass roads and cable cars and layouts of facilities were presented for review.
The report on the projects for the reconstruction of avenues, sidewalks and roads and the land plots included in the administrative territory of Arkadag City was made.
Noting that an important requirement was the active use of the latest technologies and best practices to build facilities, particularly road ones, the Hero-Arkadag emphasised that newly built and reconstructed facilities should blend well with the architectural ensemble of the new city.
When reviewing the projects, the National Leader of the Turkmen people made some comments and changes. The emphasis was placed on the importance of ensuring the high quality of facilities, complying with the construction schedules and using the national architectural traditions and advanced trends in urban planning. All these are the main requirements to the construction of road and transport infrastructure facilities in the new city.
It was noted that the latest achievements and state-of-the-art technologies must be applied during the second construction stage in Arkadag City. The Hero-Arkadag stated that, in accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, special attention should be paid to the effective use of innovations and the compliance with the construction schedules.
Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and Arkadag City Hyakim Sh. Durdyliyev.
D. Orazov reported on the ongoing work at the second construction stage in the city of Arkadag, the progress of construction of industrial facilities by the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the location of future facilities.
The report on the work being done in Arkadag City in accordance with the national conception of industrialisation, future modern facilities and equipment of industrial enterprises was presented. An important task here is to maintain an environmental wellbeing in the city.
Particular attention was paid to the strength and durability of construction materials of which facilities would be built at the second construction stage in the city. The report on the landscaping features of adjacent territories and the decoration of buildings was presented.
The Hero-Arkadag emphasised that the work being done in the city during the second construction stage must meet high international standards, modern requirements and the national principles of urban planning. Noting that modern national architectural solutions must be combined with advanced international practices, the Hero-Arkadag gave specific instructions in this regard.
Noting that while performing construction work, the improvement and cleanliness of the city should be under constant control, the Hero-Arkadag stressed that work must comply with modern requirements.
Arkadag City Hyakim Sh. Durdyliyev noted the importance of the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan “On introducing changes to the administrative territory of Arkadag City” and on behalf of the employees of the city administration and all residents of the city expressed sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for making this historic decision, which inspired the residents of Arkadag City for new labour victories.
In accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen delegation visited the Federal Republic of Germany on November 13-18 to study the manufacturing process and the technical characteristics of utility vehicles, meeting the climate conditions of our country, which would be used in the city of Arkadag. Arkadag City Hyakim Sh. Durdyliyev also emphasised that monitoring of the healthy environment in the new city was conducted on a regular basis. He expressed gratitude to Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunity to study the features of eco-cars, meeting the natural and climatic conditions of Arkadag City, and the best practices in that area during the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Federal Republic of Germany. The Arkadag City Hyakim assured that he would make every effort to fulfil the designated tasks.
He reported that thousands of people with great desire had moved to Arkadag City, having all conditions for their comfortable life and recreation, noting schools, kindergartens, health centres, shops and service facilities in the new city had started operating.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised that everything possible must be done for the city residents to fully take advantage of the favourable conditions in the city of Arkadag. Particular attention should be paid to providing housing for students on probation in the city. This is the main factor for improving professional skills of young people in their chosen area and taking a responsible approach to fulfilling the tasks facing them.
All of the above testifies to the success of the social policy of Turkmenistan, the main principle of which is “The state is for the people!”
D. Orazov was instructed to monitor the progress of the ongoing work in Arkadag City during the working trip of Sh. Durdyliyev.
As the Hero-Arkadag noted, the city hosted large-scale events and international forums of national importance. It was emphasised that in the new city, Harvest Day, having a special place in the life of farmers and all citizens of the country, would be celebrated in the city. In this regard, the National Leader of the Turkmen people gave specific instructions to organise and hold the festive events in a proper manner.
In conclusion, the Hero-Arkadag emphasised that the work being done in all the areas in the new city should be exemplary and, wished every success in their work to those present.
Then the Hero-Arkadag visited the oldest beautiful place at the Kopetdag foothills. He emphasised that Harvest Day, considered a festival of abundance, was widely celebrated in the country and should follow national traditions. On that day, the night sky would be painted with colourful lights that would be reflected on the mountain ranges as part of the festive celebrations and in honour of the farmers’ achievements. In this regard, the Hero-Arkadag instructed the celebrations should make a great impression on our compatriots.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed every effort must be made to take a responsible and integrated approach to organising and holding the Harvest Day celebrations. Numerous guests from different regions of the country and foreign states would take part in the cultural events during the celebrations.
Vegetables, melons and gourds grown in our fields have a special taste and are the result of the generosity of our land and selfless labour of our farmers. Therefore, the holiday in honour of rich harvests and our farmers should be bright, cheerful and full of music and dancing.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished every success to those present and left the venue.
